I visited UAE (3 Emirates – Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman) along with my friends in 2011.
The main tourist destination that we concentrated on this trip was Dubai (known as the entertainment capital of the Middle East). One thing that I noticed about Dubai is its weather… it’s always summer (Its Hot…Hot…and Hot…).Best time to visit is during October-March, when temperature is slightly better than the usual stuff.
There are a lot of attractions in and around Dubai.
1. The Burj-Khalifa
Tallest structure on the planet, this is something you cannot miss, if you are coming to this part of the world. There is an observation deck in one of the top floors (124 or 134) with stunning view. Try to book your tickets a little in advance, you might get some discounts.
2 . Burj Al Arab
Burj Al Arab is probably the most famous hotel in the world, located within a magnificent glass sail-shaped building rising from the waters of the Arabian Gulf, about 280m offshore from Jumeirah Beach.
3. Dubai Fountain
Right next to Dubai Mall you will find the Dubai Fountain. It has shows every evening. It is illuminated by over 6000 lights, shoots water up to 500 feet in the air, and has 22,000 gallons of water in use at any given time.
4. Dubai Mall
There are dozens of shopping malls, markets and souks in Dubai. My favorite is Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center in the world with more than 1,000 stores and a giant Aquarium with an underwater zoo. One of the best places to visit with kids, the Dubai aquarium and underwater zoo has three main sections that offer unlimited marine exploration through unique experiences.
5. Dubai Dolphinarium
A visit to the popular Dubai Dolphinarium is a complete family experience. Spread over 5,000-square-meter (54,000 sq. ft), the dolphinarium is home to 6 famous bottlenose dolphins, a healthy population of Seals and many more.. There are Dolphin and Seal Shows available.
6. Dubai Metro
Dubai Metro is best for shopping trips, connecting shoppers between many of the best malls, including Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall and City Centre.
7. Four-wheel-drive Desert Safari
Don’t miss this.. Its an experience.. Obviously, it depends on the driver who takes you for the safari and the vehicle that you are going..
