A day trip to Trier (Germany’s oldest city)
During our trip to Luxembourg in Aug 2019, we managed to do a 1-day trip to Trier, the oldest city in Germany.
Trier was once the regional capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Second Rome’.
It’s around 45-50 Minutes journey by bus, from Luxembourg.
